Role: Sound Designer and Composer
Smushrooms was made in the Fall Cozy Jam 2025, alongside a team of 5 people. This game was really interesting to work on as it was the first time I had sole control over the sound design for the entire project. We made this game over the course of 3 days, from Oct. 23rd to Oct. 26th of 2025. This game was really fun to work on but was a super quick turnaround and short time frame to get all the elements done. Implementation for music and sound was done via the Unity Engine.
This game placed 19th out of 140 entries.
This project was very enjoyable and got some really good reception from the people that we had play the game, we also were fortunate enough to get some tips and advice from many people in the game dev community. The Sounds for this game were mostly made using my own voice and editing via Pro Tools but some were also sourced from Soundly Sound Libraries.
